Version 3.2.1

  • New About › What's new? menu: opens this page, in the software's language.
  • New AKAI configuration › Options: Color pad on lowered fader = flash. When a group's fader is down, holding a color pad lights the group at 100% in that color; releasing it restores the previous state. Off by default, so you can still preset colors blind.
  • Improved Memory pads: pressing a memory that is already on turns it off.
  • Improved LIVE mode: the tempo is read from a DJ mixer's MIDI clock, even when the mixer is also your controller (a single MIDI port, like the DJM-2000). MyStrow finds the port sending the clock by itself.
  • Improved 3D stage plot: the smoke machine now fires a real jet, more powerful, reaching higher and further.
  • Fix Starting a memory no longer stops an effect launched with the effect buttons.
  • Fix Patch window: Ctrl + Z or closing without saving no longer resets the fixtures' 3D placement (height, tilt).
  • Fix Effect editor: a valid position is no longer wrongly shown as “⚠ Center”.

Version 3.1.99

  • New Memory pads: right-click › Behaviour. Choose between toggle, flash (the memory is only on while you hold the pad) or solo flash (it mutes the other memories while held).
  • New Gobos: the wheel now has 16 patterns. Each tile shows the pattern's drawing and name (“4-point star”, “MyStrow logo”…) instead of “G1” to “G7”.
  • Improved About 1,000 interface texts are now translated into English, Spanish, German and Portuguese.
  • Fix 2D plan: raising a memory fader no longer makes the fixtures blink and then disappear on screen.

Version 3.1.98

  • Fix Patch export and import (.msp file): the file now keeps every fixture setting (3D tilt and height, rotation, movement zone, pan/tilt inversions and range, colour and gobo wheels). Re-export any patch made with an older version.

Version 3.1.97

  • New A memory without a level only sets what it contains (strobe only, a gobo only, a position only…). You can raise it on top of a look without wiping it.
  • New REC Light: a sequence's table shows what each memory sends. Select cells and press Delete to remove a parameter, or type a value to change it. The Undo button takes you back.

Version 3.1.95

  • New 3D plan: six ready-made sets (concert, conference, nightclub, mobile DJ, outdoor festival, Christmas tree), several camera viewpoints, and the playing media shown on the set's screens.
  • New Video output: new Video output settings window. Adjust position, size, four-corner warp, brightness and black frame, directly with the mouse.
  • New Jingles: “Play over the playlist” option. A jingle then plays on top of the current media without stopping it.
